The MAx16 qPCR system developed by Anitoa is compact, featuring a 16-well capacity and a 4-plex module, allowing it to manage four independent fluorescence channels. This innovative design caters to various applications, including nucleic acid testing systems for integrated sample extraction, amplification, and detection. It is also well-suited for DNA sequencing samples and library preparation. Its fast thermal cycler, capable of completing an RT-PCR protocol in under 30 minutes, significantly accelerates lab processes, making it especially valuable to molecular diagnostics labs, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies.

Equipped with Anitoa’s proprietary CMOS-based fluorescence detection system, the MAx16 offers four to six detection channels. Its solid-state optics design eliminates the need for calibration, simplifying use and enhancing reliability. The system’s rugged and compact structure is ideal for automation setups, particularly in molecular testing environments that prioritize high throughput, accuracy, and time efficiency.

The MAx16 also boasts an electrically actuated heat lid to enhance its automation capabilities. Its digital interface supports control over various communication protocols, including CAN bus and USB, making it adaptable to different automation systems. Its small size—measuring just 250 mm by 160 mm by 140 mm—and lightweight construction (weighing less than 2.2 kg) allow it to fit easily into desktop robotic fluid handling systems. This makes it highly suitable for laboratories looking to optimize space and improve operational efficiency.

As Dr. Zhimin Ding, CEO, Anitoa Systems, highlighted, “We are seeing a growing demand for fully automated molecular test systems that are compact, easy to use, and reliable.” He added, “We are excited to participate in this market and help improve molecular lab test throughput and at the same time reduce staff workload.”

With its advanced features, compact design, and ease of integration, the MAx16 system is set to meet the rising demands for efficient and automated molecular testing solutions across diverse sectors
